iN YOUR TIME AS A JEWELRY MAKER, HAS THERE BEEN ONE PROJECT THAT STICKS OUT?

All of my jewelry projects are labors of love, but projects are truly memorable to me when I hunt for fun, vintage pieces and make them in to wearable art. It brings a smile to my face when a customer smiles when she's wearing a one of a kind piece, as if it's been made with her in mind.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE MATERIAL TO WORK WITH?

Anything vintage, anything unusual—book pages, leather key holders, old keys, fabric, paint, anything colorful!  items and materials that have a story are especially cool to create with. Anything shiny is a happy distraction for me & fun to incorporate in my assortment of products.

Do YOU HAVE A PLACE, OR TIME, WHEN YOU'RE MOST PRODUCTIVE?

My studio is definitely my happy place. Working away from home gives my business a "real" feeling—I can get a lot done with none of the distractions I have when working at home. The funky vibe at the studio inspires creativity and productivity and is just a great place to be.

MANY OF YOUR DESIGNS ARE HEART OR FLOWER-SHAPED—ARE YOU INSPIRED BY THE ROMANTIC?

Romantic is wonderful! hearts and flowers make me smile. I love to surround myself—at home and in my pop-up shops—with what I love. If something makes me happy, then it needs to be part of my creative endeavor. If someone stops by my booth and I can make them happy with something I've made, then I've been successful!

I love being a one-woman-show because I can let my creativity flow and do what I love every single day.
