Hey there, Flea folks! If you came to the Summer Flea this past weekend, thanks for joining the party, supporting our Flea vendors and weathering the weather with us! From the super rad "Talking Heads & Tacos" party on Friday night to the last cocktail drank on Sunday, our team had a blast and we hope you did, too. Didn't make it for this Fleakin' Weekend? No worries - we're already gearing up for Fall Flea on Friday, September 28-Sunday, September 30 (aka, mark your calendars now!)

For those of you who were at Flea, let us know what your fave #FleaFinds were! We did some shoppin', too - Blake (and most of the Flea team) rocked his Tequila grandpa hat from Mountain Standard all weekend long, Jo bought her dad the brand new CBD bitters from Strongwater, Megan's been loving the Sleepover CBD Gummies, and Devon picked up a few gorgeous prints from Sophie Halma, plus the new W&P Italian Spritz syrup from Manofatto.

After a Flea-packed weekend and work week filled with cleaning up, recapping, answering emails, and getting our lives back in order, our whole team is collectively ready for a weekend of R&R. We hope you, too, have the chance to rest a bit while also enjoying the best of Colorado summer.

Sending you off into the post-Flea weekend with some of the things our team all about as of late:

It’s peak wildflower season, and while Megan will be among the wildflowers (RIP Tom Petty) this weekend hiking from Aspen to Crested Butte, you can catch them a little closer to Denver at any one of these hikes.

Need some variety in your summer salad game? Several members of the Flea team bought salad dressings from new-to-Flea vendor Bloombox Foods, a Boulder-based company who creates dressings to complement your fresh market greens (kale, arugula and spinach as of now). Pick up a bottle at the Union Station or Pearl Street farmers' markets this weekend. Pro tip: follow the salad recipes on the back of the bottles, they are GREAT.

Another pro tip from the Flea vendor The Spice Guy’s themselves: if you add Soy Sauce (or sub out for Liquid Aminos) to your pork or chicken, in addition to their infamous Sweet Heat, it’s basically heaven..in your mouth.

For the home gardener - the Rain Bird Irrigation system will save your potted plats when you head out of town for weekend mountain excursions.

If you’re into CPG (Consumer Packages Goods) and have an eye for design, or seeking new sites for branding inspiration, you can nerd out on TheDieline.com

Pony Up is latest restaurant to open in LoDo, conveniently located on Blake Street right behind the Flea team's offices. We plan to head there quite often for an amazing French Dip sandwich.

Jo's been digging HBO's latest, Sharp Objects with Amy Adams - while Devon has started reading the book version before she dives into the TV one.

Is your home in need of a wall refresh? Design Sponge gives you some unexpected tips and tricks on how to put up a gallery wall.

If you don't already do so, we suggest subscribing the Denverite's daily e-newsletter for a quick, newsy and witty update on what's happening around the city and state.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts today! Stock up on basics and get some fashionable finds for great prices while you can.

Add some fun summer flair to your cocktails with Oh Happy Day's cute selection of picks and stirrers. And, why not pick up a Watermelon Tumbler while you're at it?

If you're in need of a caffeine fix this weekend, or simply need to hole up somewhere to get some work done, check out Eater Denver's guide to the best coffee spots around town.

Devon attended a digital marketing conference this week and Scott Dikkers, the founder of The Onion, was one of the keynote speakers - so, this is just a reminder of how funny "America's finest news source" really is.
