Hey there, Flea people! After a week spent recovering from Summer Flea, we jumped right back into the swing of things as we started planning for the Fall Flea (September 29-30, mark your calendars!) and opened up vendor applications (apply here!). Also, if you haven't done so already, you have until 12 p.m. MST to enter our AEG ticket giveaway on the Flea 'gram

We're not quite sure how it's already the last Friday of July, but it's certainly making all of us on the Flea team rev up the summertime activities for the weekend!  If you're looking for some fun things to get into - our friends at Two Parts are hosting the region's biggest musical festival, The Underground Music Showcase, on South Broadway all weekend long (check out the lineup here).

Also, on Sunday, the ladies behind Jojo's Sriracha (one of our fave Denver Flea vendors!) are hosting a RiNo Block Party to raise money for families dealing with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease), for which all donations will go directly to ALS - Rocky Mountain Chapter. The event is free and includes a moto ride with The Scarlet Headers, yoga at Ratio Beerworks, a DUNK TANK and a pop-up makers market with several other folks from the Flea vendor fam. Get more of the details here.

Sending you off into last weekend of July with some of the things we just can't stop talking about:

Need some Friday Tunes? Check out The Internet’s ‘Hive Mind’, Work Out  by Chance the Rapper, or this rad UMS playlist (especially for those attending!)

For all you bookworms who prefer books IRL - Blake's reading Short Night of a Shadow Catcher: The Epic Life and Immortal Photographs of Edward Curtis, a great story of the photographer as he captured images of the vanishing Native America tribes in the Pacific Northwest in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Highly recommended!

For those who prefer listening to their books over the airwaves - on Audible, Blake just downloaded Norse Mythology. Read by the author Neil Gaiman, the book is a collection of great Norse tales.

Going on vacation? Read this for some tips on how to de-plug from your phone.

If your dog loves playing outside (and thus, inevitably rolling in dirt/jumping in the water/stepping in mud) but hates bath time, Rachael's ingenious find - the K9 Bath Buddy - is for you.

Love it or hate it - scrunchies are baaackk! Strongly in the "love it" camp, Devon and a few of her gal pals have been sportin' these styles from Flea vendor, Rose & Royce.

In search of a better way to organize your to-do list, compartmentalize your thoughts and take notes like a champ? Our team is very into Evernote, a simple way to do all of those things.

Blake's loves his subscription to Monocle, which covers global affairs and lifestyle issues. Comes monthly and is super dense, so it'll keeps ya home at night and out of the new Denver bars.

Looking to infuse some joy in your life? Tune into this TedTalk with Ingrid Fetell Lee on the subject.

Pick up a watermelon this weekend and try out Bon Appetit's easy awesome recipe for salted watermelon juice. And for those who feel obliged, add tequila.

Megan recently discovered these healthy alternatives to late night chocolate cravings and we're stocking up our freezers.

If cultural things are well, your thing - you'll be stoked to know that the Denver Art Museum will be the only stop for the upcoming Monet Exhibit

Last but certainly not least - you might have caught wind that we're big Drake fans over here at Denver Flea HQ. As such, we - much like most of the Internet - can't get enough #InMyFeelingsChallenge inspired by Drake's killa new song. Need a refresher course? It all started with this dude - and now, it has gone viral (obvi) and even Will Smith is doing it. Jo's fiance's namesake is the #1 star, too.
