THURSDAY AND FRIDAY: "Finding hygge" premiere with HYGGE LIfe, INFINITE MONKEY THEOREM & THE REGIONAL

Denver Flea vendors and faves Hygge Life are hosting the Colorado premiere of a documentary called "Finding Hygge" tonight and tomorrow at Infinite Monkey Theorem in RiNo. The film is all about "hygge" ( pronounced "hoo-gah," for those of you who've been wondering), the Danish art of creating joy & coziness in life's every day moments, and Hygge Life is featured in it - how cool is that? Each night will include a showing of the documentary, IMT wines, bites provided by Flea friend Kevin Grossi of The Regional, and a Q&A session with the film crew. More details + tickets can be found on the Facebook event page and the Hygge Life website

sATURDAY: Bake sale x plant pop-up with Lula Rose @ Dio Mio

Dio Mio is teaming up with Lula Rose General Store/Little Lula Rose for a bake sale and plant pop-up on Saturday, because why not have a few pastries while you stock up on some new succulents? They'll be setting up shop from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., with plenty of flower arrangements, home goods, and other plants from the Lula Rose team, as well as pastries, freshly-baked bread, pasta by the ounce, and coffee from the crew of Dio Mio. Get more deets on the Facebook event page

Saturday-monday: SOUTH GAYLORD "kickoff to summer" MEMORIAL WEEKEND FESTIVAL

Head down to Wash Park for the "Kickoff to Summer" festival happening on South Gaylord Street, for three days of live music, food from local restaurants like Agave and Frozen Matter, yoga on the street, boozy beverages, and shopping with local makers, including several Denver Flea faves like Haper Made and Penni Olive. The event is free to the public, meaning everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. More information can be found on the website.

Monday: senor bear one-year anniversary party

Spend Memorial Day celebrating with the Senor Bear crew! To celebrate one year of serving Denver some serious stellar Latin American cooking, the crew is saying "mi casa es su casa" for a Memorial Day BBQ of sorts, with ceviche, tons of smoked meats, fun sides, and two drinks for $25 per person. Great deal, good people, and awesome food and drink - we're in. More details can be cound on the Facebook event page
