To our vendors and friends
As we enter our sixth year in business, we took the time to reflect on where Denver Flea has been – what started in 2015 as a 30-vendor market in Denver’s City Park has become something much larger than we initially thought. After nineteen Denver Flea events, hundreds of vendors and countless meaningful connections, we wrapped up 2018 with our first-ever Holiday Market at Denver Union Station, setting up shop on the historic Plaza with 350+ vendors, welcoming 50,000+ attendees over the course of four weekends and setting the stage for the next chapter of our company.
And now, it’s time to focus on where we are going. In addition to opening a brick and mortar retail shop in Downtown Denver in May, we’ll continue to focus on making our Denver markets better than ever, while also expanding our presence in new arenas.
To better align with our continued focus on supporting small brands and to allow for future growth, our markets will no longer be called the Denver Flea. The new name is Fetch Markets – and, we wanted you, our vendors, to be the first to know. We will make the official “switch” to Fetch and publicly announce the news on February 27, 2019.
Though our name will change, who we are as a company will not. Fetch Markets will remain a celebration of emerging brands and small business, a unique shopping experience beyond traditional retail models, and a community gathering place that engages, connects and excites people from all over Colorado and the country.
Our next Denver event is our Spring Market on April 12-14, 2019 in the RiNo neighborhood. As of today, we’ve opened up vendor applications and encourage you to apply for the first Fetch Market of the year. To submit your application and learn more about the Spring Market and our 2019 schedule, please visit our participate here.
We feel incredibly lucky to have grown in ways we couldn’t have imagined five years ago and are grateful to have had you by our side during this journey – we hope that you’ll continue to join us for this wild ride we call reinvented retail.
