I want in!
The Denver Flea works with a curated group of emerging and established artisans, makers, and small businesses from Colorado and across the U.S. To ensure that each event features a diverse and interesting set of vendors and products, the Denver Flea is juried. We’re seeking makers and creators that fit the Denver Flea aesthetic, have an innovative, cohesive brand and offer high-quality original products.
***HOLIDAY FLEA APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED****
ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THEIR STATUS BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23.
We’re excited to announce that we are hosting our 2018 Holiday MARKET on the plaza of Denver Union Station IN DOWNTOWN DENVER and are extending the holiday market festivities from one to four weekends.
We are drawing inspiration from outdoor holiday markets similar to other well-known events such as the Winter Village in NYC’s Bryant Park and Winter Wonderland in London’s Hyde Park. To bring a similar holiday experience to Denver, we are working closely with several important city groups including Denver Union Station, Downtown Denver Partnership, City of Denver, Visit Denver, Colorado Tourism, RTD, Sage Hospitality, McWhinney, Larimer Associates, and numerous restaurants and businesses in the LoDo neighborhood.
This Holiday Flea is an incredible opportunity to showcase your brand to the 25,000 daily visitors to Denver Union Station, as well as for all of us to be apart of what will hopefully become a major annual holiday event for Denver.
The confirmed dates of the 2018 Holiday Flea are as follows:
Weekend One: Friday, November 23 (Black Friday)-Sunday, November 25
Weekend Two: Friday, November 30-Sunday, December 2
Weekend Three: Friday, December 7-Sunday, December 9
Weekend Four: Friday, December 14-Sunday, December 16
We understand that you will likely have a few questions - as such, we have listed below our initial answers to several anticipated questions about the overall event:
Vendor Booth Fees
The base Holiday Flea vendor booth fees will remain the same as they have been for all previous 2018 Flea events (please refer to the Vendor FAQ page on our website for details on booth options)
To create a consistent design aesthetic and ensure for the security of you and your products, we are renting 10x10 winter weather-appropriate covered tents that all participating vendors will use. The fee for the tent and tent set up will not exceed $150 per weekend.
Hours of the Event
The exact hours for each weekend is being confirmed, but the general timing will be as follows:
Friday: evenings only
Saturday and Sunday: all day
This will be a rain-snow-or-shine market.
Our goal is to deliver power to each booth for space heaters, lighting, and other electrical needs. We will follow up with more details as soon as they are made available to us.
As soon as details surrounding power are confirmed, we will determine which types of space heaters are able to be used by vendors during the events.
Due to the nature of the event being held at Union Station, this will be the most secure Flea we’ve ever had with their usual security operations plus additional event-specific personnel.
We will have multiple entrances, bars, and other activations throughout the holiday market layout, in order to create an experience similar to past Denver Flea/Holiday Flea markets. The Holiday Flea at Denver Union Station will be ticketed, and we are also creating unique ticket packages to encourage locals and visitors to attend and engage with the market during the multiple weekends.
We are working with several parking companies in the LoDo area to offer ample parking options for vendors and attendees.
2018 Pre-Sale vendors: you are still confirmed to participate in Weekend Two (November 29-December 2). We will be sending you a separate email with more information on your options.’
